CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN OF 1.5KVA INVERTER
CHAPTER ONE
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of the Study
The primary objective of the contents of this file is to provide adequate breadth and depth for basics in electronic components at the undergraduate level. The document contains the procedure right from drawing the circuit diagram on the page to its implementation on the Printed Circuit Board. It includes the information of the basic components of electronics like the capacitor, resistor, diodes and also a little bit information of the integrated circuit CD4047. It has the information about the software used that is the Proteus software which is very useful in designing the very important part of the project i.e., the PCB layout without which one cannot imagine to implement the circuit in its materialistic form. The Proteus schematic capture module also provides a very high degree of control over the drawing appearance, in terms of line widths, fill styles. Fonts, etc. although the designing of the circuit on proteus software is a tedious job. it is just very much useful for the operator to get the signal that the circuit is working on software basis. But it does not mean that the circuit will also run in the materialistic form.
Also the books which were referred for accomplishment of this project work are quite helpful. The project has an abstract of all those books which are written in the reference section of this file report. One can also refer those books instead of referring this, but that would be very much tedious job to find each and every topic in those books, it would be rather easy to read this material and get an overview. For further information one is advised to refer the books. This project file will also help the reader to implement the same project and other projects of this type to implement on their own.
The project also reveals the hard work done by the writer to make this page printed project in material form. It is the reflection of dedication which the implementer of the project has towards it. Although it was all done by the student it would not be wrong to describe here that the guide of this project work has helped a lot and at the same time encouraged to implement this all new project and a very new and interesting things in our course of engineering.
1.2. Basics of the project:
In this document one can understand the very basics of electronic
Components, PCB designing, the software Proteus and all the questions which one may come across while doing sonic electronics project for the first time. This abstract contains information about the software Proteus, right from its manufacturer the Lab-center Electronics to the key components used in the design procedure for the inverter circuit. It also includes the problems which the circuit may have to face if there is some kind of distortion in the applied input or some voltage fluctuations may also occur as result of improper power supply and the project deals with all these problems.
One can also know about voltages and currents flowing through each component in the circuit as per the mathematical calculations done in the record. The abbreviations included in the record are easy to understand and are explained in detail at the end of chapter 04 with all their long forms. The reference in the same chapter will help the reader to go to the particular sites and will help the reader to clear his)her doubts, if any. Chapter 03 includes analysis of the mini-project which will help him understand about the circuit of inverter that how it works, the basic ideology used in the designing of circuit. One would be able to understand about why a particular component of particular ratings only is used in the circuit in this chapter. The same chapter also includes the circuit diagram of simple 100w inverter along with the ratings of the components.
We will also come across Proteus Virtual System Modeling (VSM which combines mixed mode SPICE circuit simulation, animated components and microprocessor models to facilitate co-simulation of complete microcontroller based designs. As an abstract one can say that the overall project helps to learn about the smallest component in detail. A person who is very much unknown to these components will get the basic idea as well as a little bit of deep idea for example about the polarities of the components used, which capacitors require to he connected in correct polarity and which no. how much power or current is required for LEDs which is a light activated device.
1.3 Block diagram and its description:
The block diagram of simple 100w inverter consists of a battery which is the power source for the entire circuit. In the block diagram battery supply is given to the MOSFET driver where it will convert DC to AC and the resulting AC is given to the step up transformer from the step up transformer we will get the original voltage…..
